Mercer.
Peggy Mercer is a world known author and songwriter. She previously
taught children and adults in public schools and behavior change programs. During her
teaching years she influenced over 5,000 students. She is the author of the upper reader,Peach, When the Well Run Dry, which won
her the Georgia Author of the Year Award in June, 2011. The book was chosen by the Children's Defense Fund out of
Washington, D.C. for it's "Freedom In the Schools Program." She is also the author of TEN COWS TO TEXAS and the beautifully illustrated non-fiction story set in World War II,
THERE COME A SOLDIER. Other book projects are forthcoming.
Peggy Mercer is
also a songwriter with numerous songs published and released. Peggy continues to teach others
how to become published authors and songwriters.
